Please share a little bit about yourself:

“I'm a gritty, hard-working northerner, born and raised in upstate New York. I'm a prime example of what can happen when you roll-up your sleeves, ask questions, get dirty, forge relationships and apply what you've learned to your personal and professional life in efforts to grow and be a better person, all around. I'm a black man who is a product of a mother and father who have worked to provide and instill wisdom within me, and who have been married for over 40 years.

I've lived in NY, Chicago and Atlanta throughout my life - each geography possessing its own rich identity, which has played a huge part in my personal and professional development.

Fulfillment for me is simultaneously learning while helping. As a person who grew up very much to themselves, I have evolved into one who cures curiosity through engagement.

The hashtag #ProudGirlDad articulates everything it's meant to. She's an amazing young woman and I learn more from her than she'll ever know. She remarkably perceptive, warm-hearted, loving, hilarious and simply an amazing young human. Its is MY honor, to be her father.

My niche is problem-solving and the industries in which I have driven result-oriented change are many; Steel, foods, electronics, HVAC & automation engineering.

I have the ability to stand in the middle of complexity and ambiguity, work to understand the challenges and obstacles which prohibit forward movement and efficiency, determine the best possible strategy, then create a roadmap for a better future state of working. I bring people together, encourage dialogue, and provide a framework that serves as a catalyst that ultimately gets collective groups speaking the same language. Its not always an easy task, and sometimes this process can take long than others. But the thing that motivates and fulfills me, is when progress and achievements are reached.

That's what keeps me going.”
